POP UP Yoga
SATURDAYS | 11a - 1p
POETRY IN MOTION | spring 2026
April 11th to May 16th
A limited time offering, this series of classes will focus on rousing the muse within as we fully engage with spring. Please bring your yoga mat and journal - drop in only. Here’s the itinerary:
10:55-11:15* | Arrival, nesting
* space is limited, doors close at 11:15
11:15 | BEGIN
a new poem will guide each week followed by a robust hour of yoga postures woven with breath and sealed with a yoga nidra practice
12:30 | EMERGE
Use the mental shift to capture inspired ideas - draw, write, sketch, dream, scheme in a self-guided space (or leave quietly, if you prefer)
12:55 | Community Closing
Cost: $10-25 sliding fee (cash or Venmo, please)
A bit about our host Bohemian Oasis Healing Center
Located at the heart of Madison’s east side in Schenk’s Corners, guests will arrive to a gentle engagement of the senses. Slide your shoes off at the door, grab some slippers, and come quietly into the “sanctuary.” Bohemian Oasis also offers massage, facials, and private sauna rental.
Bohemian Oasis has blocks, bolsters, and blankets available for public use - please bring your own yoga mat.
Water and tea service is available - please bring any other comfort items for classes.
HEADS UP
Postural Yoga with less downdog
April 22nd - May 27th
WEDNESDAYs | 4-5p
Dynamic postural yoga sequences less DownDog - for those looking to avoid head down positions or heavy bearing of weight on the shoulders, elbows or wrists. Classes will be limited to 8-10 participants and are designed for folks who can transition from floor to standing independently. Boutique-style classes incorporate yoga postures, breath awareness and techniques to soothe the nervous system.

Blend the science of self regulation with the wisdom of yogic traditions in this 6-week series designed to fortify the pathways optimizing the outcomes of each day. Over six month we’ll meet in person to focus on physical engagement, breath awareness, cultivating thought to support purpose and uncovering a signature of Self. Group classes are a deep dive into the connection between mind, body and other aspects of being. Support will be provided in the spaces between.
Wellness Educator
For decades, I’ve been integrating wisdom from the yoga traditions with the science of self-regulation in carefully curated classes, courses, and individual instruction. Inspired by models that uplift community well-being, I’m committed to designing safe spaces for folks who seek an earnest relationship with mind, body and other aspects of being.
Guided by models integrating the natural world with time-tested teachings - the mothers, poets, musicians, trees & other wisdom keepers - I seek to build a deeper relationship to the senses and source of sustenance. For over 30 years, yoga and meditation have shaped more perspective and helped to harness energy in alignment with is felt deeply —
I live as an undaunted, compassionate presence and would love to hold space is we create space for ingenuity, creativity and higher states of being.
